Attending the opening ceremony were: Ms. Ngo Thi Bich Hanh - Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union; leaders of the Provincial Community Activities Center, the Provincial Youth Union; team leaders and 120 primary and secondary school students in the province.

The 2026 Skills Summer Camp took place over 3 days (May 25-27). More than 120 youth leaders and students (aged 9-14) from 12 communes and wards participated, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds, those with excellent academic and behavioral achievements, and those actively involved in school and Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers activities. Over the 3 days, the youth leaders and students participated in many fun and beneficial activities, such as: experiential activities, group activities, and the cultivation of knowledge and practical social skills to foster solidarity, creativity, and essential life skills; playing traditional games, creative physical games, and group activities; reporting achievements, a journey to historical sites, and education on history and traditions; a "Circle of Friends" evening; and campfire gatherings.

The summer camp aims to provide students with a fun and enriching summer experience, allowing them to socialize and expand their friendships. It creates a practical educational environment, honing social skills and fostering personal growth through experiential activities. Simultaneously, it offers a joyful playground where students can learn, be creative, develop teamwork, improve communication and collaboration skills, and participate in group activities. The summer camp is also a practical and meaningful gift from the Provincial Community Activities Center to students who have continuously strived in their studies and personal development throughout the past school year.
