Opening of the exhibition celebrating 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press

On May 17, at the Quang Ninh Museum (Ha Long City), the Provincial Journalists Association coordinated with the Provincial Media Center, the Vietnam Press Museum, and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize an exhibition on 100 years of Vietnam's revolutionary press, the history of Quang Ninh press, and the province's outstanding achievements (referred to as the Exhibition). Attending the exhibition were Mr. Vu Quyet Tien, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and representatives of departments, branches, and localities; and representatives of national press agencies.

The exhibition includes the following spaces: 100 years of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism, History of Quang Ninh journalism, outstanding achievements of Quang Ninh province; virtual reality studio area. In particular, the History of Quang Ninh journalism area is divided into stages 1928-1955, 1956-1985; 1986-2018 and from 2019 to present. Each stage of journalism is associated with the socio -economic development process of Quang Ninh province and the country, while keeping up with international journalism trends.

Comrade Nguyen The Lam, Director - Editor-in-Chief of the Provincial Media Center delivered the opening speech of the Exhibition.

In addition, the Exhibition also displays over 100 valuable documents and artifacts associated with the historical process of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press, as well as the Quang Ninh Press. In addition, there are also radio and television broadcasting equipment prepared by the Provincial Media Center, which have accompanied the milestones of formation and development of Quang Ninh province.

The exhibition will last until May 27. This is one of the practical and meaningful activities in the series of events of Quang Ninh Press Festival to celebrate important historical milestones of the country and the press.

The area displaying television and radio artifacts attracted the attention of delegates.

The exhibition is organized to promote and introduce the glorious 100-year history of Vietnam's revolutionary press, and the press tradition of Quang Ninh province through the ages. At the same time, it affirms and honors the great contributions of the press and journalists of Quang Ninh to the cause of building and developing the province. Along with that, it educates the tradition of patriotism, national pride, arouses confidence and solidarity among the press and the whole society.

The exhibition attracted the participation of many delegates and journalists from inside and outside the province.

After the opening of the exhibition, there will be a discussion program: "Quang Ninh journalists learn and follow Ho Chi Minh's journalism style in the new era" with the participation of more than 100 delegates who are local leaders, leaders of press agencies and reporters in the province. From 3:00 p.m. on May 17, the Team Building program and outdoor gala dinner will take place at Tuan Chau Beach (Tuan Chau Ward, Ha Long City).
