The Opening Ceremony began with the art performance “By the Cau River, I sing Then verses” – as a greeting imbued with identity, opening a journey connecting heritage, culture and tourism between the lands along the beloved Cau River. The ceremony stage was magnificently decorated right on the surface of the Cau River with large LED screens and modern laser lights...

The program staged a spectacular performance recreating the nation's victory over foreign invaders, with the powerful poem "Nam quoc son ha" - Ly Thuong Kiet's Declaration of Independence, driving the Song army out of the country...

The highlight of the Opening Ceremony is the art program with the theme "Song Cau - where the source converges", starting with 3 chapters: "Where the source of the Cau River"; "River of poetry" and "Flow of new vitality"... The program brings together typical art performances for each province in the Cau River basin such as: Quan ho, hat xam, hat then, hat van... with the participation of singers: RamC, Minh Hang, Phuc Bo Sai Gon, Quoc Vuong, Khanh Chi, Ngoc Ha, Xuan Truong, Thu Thuy, Ba Dan, Thanh Nga...

"Bac Kan Culture - Tourism Week" in 2025 will be held from April 22 to the end of the April 30 and May 1 holidays, with many attractive cultural, sports and tourism activities such as: Art program: Song Cau - Where the source converges; Performance of typical intangible cultural heritage "Song Cau - The source of heritage" with representative heritages: Then practice, luon singing of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups (Bac Kan), Tac Xinh dance of the San Chay ethnic group (Thai Nguyen), Quan Ho singing (Bac Ninh), Cheo singing (Bac Giang), Xam singing (Hanoi), Ca Tru singing (Hai Duong); Exhibition of paintings and photos of tourism in the Cau River basin provinces; Mountain bike racing on the new route of Bac Kan city - Ba Be lake; Bac Kan province's Pickleball tournament in 2025; Regional specialty fair of the Cau River basin; 2 Investment promotion seminars and tours, nature exploration, promise to bring visitors interesting experiences, feel the peace between wild nature and the hospitality of indigenous people, open up opportunities to link tourism development between provinces; invite investors, travel agencies interested in developing tourism in the Cau River basin.
