On May 17th, Military Hospital 121 (Logistics and Technical Department of Military Region 9), in coordination with Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy and the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of My Duc commune (An Giang province), organized medical examinations, provided medicine, and gave gifts to people from policy beneficiary families, poor households, and households with difficult circumstances in My Duc commune.

Construction has begun on the upgrading and expansion project of the road section in Khanh An hamlet, My Duc commune.

On the same day, the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of My Duc commune held a groundbreaking ceremony for the upgrading and expansion project of the road section at the foot of Dinh My Duc bridge in groups 14 and 15, Khanh An hamlet. The project is 300m long, 3m wide, and has a load capacity of 5 tons. The estimated cost is 350 million VND, funded by Major General Nguyen Minh Trieu through donations from organizations and individuals inside and outside the military, with local residents contributing labor.

These activities are aimed at practically commemorating the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), contributing to the effective implementation of social welfare work, and promoting the new rural development program in My Duc commune in 2026 and the years to come.
