The program “Where to go? What to eat?” produced by the Department of Science and Education, Vietnam Television, has been on air since early 2017. The program is designed to introduce tourist destinations across the country to audiences nationwide. Not only introducing destinations and specialties, the program also introduces in-depth information related to history and culture. In addition to reports on locations and typical dishes of the regions, guests at the studio also share and analyze to help audiences have more diverse perspectives on the locations and dishes introduced by the program.

Phu Tho Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has coordinated with the Department of Science and Education, Vietnam Television to produce the program "Where to go? What to eat?" broadcast on VTV2 channel to promote the image of Phu Tho Tourism through culinary dishes along with unique cultural values that have been preserved in the homeland.
Filming in Phu Tho, the program crew has created 4 broadcast contents, recording culinary experiences, scenic spots, and cultural values at famous landmarks of Phu Tho. The first episode has the theme
"Xuan Son Forest Fragrance" the audience will join the crew to experience the scene of trekking through the forest, bathing in waterfalls, exploring caves and enjoying the delicious dish "Grilled Chicken with Many Spur" at Xuan Son National Park, which has the only primeval forest ecosystem on limestone mountains in Vietnam; Episode 2 with the theme " Discovering Hung Lo Ancient Village" to visit the ancient communal house over 300 years old, learn about the architecture of ancient houses in the village and participate in the Xom market, a unique traditional cultural feature that is still preserved; Episode 3 with the theme "Returning to the Ancestral Land" filmed at the Hung Temple Historical Site will bring the audience a feeling of nostalgia and emotion when returning to the Fatherland, the Ancestral Land and listening to unique stories about the cultural heritage "Phu Tho Xoan Singing" in ancient Xoan villages; enjoy the unique cuisine "Sour Cassava Soup"; The last episode with the theme "The soul of the countryside in the heart of the city" was filmed at Tan Duc clean vegetable village and Nu rural market in the heart of Viet Tri city, where rare rural goods can be found that cannot be found in any market.

Viewers watching the program will experience the unique values of people, culture, cuisine with dishes that have been preserved from the Hung King period to the present day. Thereby, bringing the audience interesting feelings, being immersed, understanding the beauty in the life of Phu Tho people, understanding and loving their homeland more and more.
It can be said that this is a very attractive and quality program in promoting Phu Tho tourism image to domestic and foreign tourists.
The program will be broadcast at 9:05 p.m. every Tuesday and Friday on VTV2. The first two episodes were broadcast on October 6, 2017 and October 20, 2017. The following episodes will be updated according to the broadcast schedule on VTV2.
