Inauguration of Tran Phu High School

Tran Phu High School is the earliest high school established in the province (January 11, 1947), honorably named after a loyal communist soldier, the first General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam . Over the past 80 years, the school has achieved many great achievements, been awarded many noble titles by the Party and the State, contributing significantly to the development of education and training (Education and Training) in the province.

Tran Phu High School project starts construction in November 2023 on an area of 2.2 hectares; total capital investment of 323 billion VND with full facilities to meet the learning needs of 1,600 students, including 39 classrooms and blocks, functional rooms such as hall, multi-purpose hall, swimming pool, library, football field, principal's house, administrative block.

This is a typicaleducational and cultural project of the provincial education and training sector, built synchronously in scale and architecture with full modern equipment for learning, meeting the learning needs of children in Vinh Yen city and Vinh Phuc province. At the same time, it is one of the key projects to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Phung Thi Kim Nga praised the investor, construction and installation units, and supervision consultants for their efforts to complete and hand over the Tran Phu High School project on schedule and according to the set plan; departments, branches, and units have closely coordinated throughout the project implementation process so that the project was inaugurated on time as required.

With the consistent viewpoint that "Education and training is the top national policy; investment in education is investment for sustainable development", the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and local Party committees and authorities in the province always pay attention and give special priority to devoting large resources to the cause of education and training.

The construction of Tran Phu High School is an important highlight, demonstrating the attention and close direction of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee towards the cause of education and training. From the 2025-2026 school year, teachers and students of Tran Phu High School will teach and study in a new, spacious, clean, beautiful, synchronous, and modern school.

This is a favorable condition for the school to continue its glorious journey, reaching new heights in the career of "cultivating people"; being a bright spot in the educational picture of the province, training generations of excellent students, contributing to building the homeland more and more prosperous, bringing Vinh Phuc and the whole country into a new era - the era of national development.

Tran Phu High School was inaugurated in the context that Vinh Phuc and the whole country are facing new opportunities and challenges of the 4.0 industrial revolution. Developing human resources, especially high-quality human resources in the context that the province is developing towards industrialization, is one of the urgent requirements, a strategic task that is both urgent and long-term in the process of building and developing the province. Innovation and improvement of the quality of education and training is a decisive solution for human resource development in the current period.

Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Phung Thi Kim Nga requested the provincial education and training sector in general and Tran Phu High School in particular to fundamentally and comprehensively reform education and training; pay attention to educating inspirational traditions, fostering political and ideological knowledge, and love for the homeland for students.
