On May 19th, the Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper, in collaboration with the Can Tho City Federation of Labor, held the inauguration ceremony for the "National Flag Road" project on Nguyen Van Cu street, An Binh ward.

This is the 20th "National Flag Street" in Can Tho City.

The organizing committee presented a symbolic plaque donating 500 flags to An Binh ward.

This project aims to practically celebrate the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh 's birth (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2026) and the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, term 2026 – 2031.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vu, Vice Chairman of the An Binh Ward People's Committee, the flag-lined road is approximately 8 km long, featuring 500 flags donated by the Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper as part of the "Proud of the National Flag" program.

Mr. Vo Van Trung, Head of My Phuoc Area, said that the flag-lined road passes through three residential areas, including My Phuoc. The project has profound political significance, bearing the strong imprint and pride of the nation; To encourage, promote, and inspire the people in the ward in particular and Can Tho City in general to foster a spirit of unity and build a more prosperous and beautiful locality.
