Inauguration and groundbreaking of many projects to celebrate the Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress

The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has just issued Document No. 441/TTr-UBND on the list of projects and works to be started and inaugurated to welcome the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030, to the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the City People's Committee.

Accordingly, group A projects will start the project to build the city's children's palace; inaugurate the project to build the new Cu Chi Regional General Hospital.

Group B projects: Commencement of construction (4 projects): Project to expand the connecting road of Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway (section from An Phu intersection to Ring Road 2); Project to dredge Da Do canal (from Nguyen Hoang street to Saigon river); Project to build Phu Tho racetrack park - entertainment area for youth; Project to build new Women's Cultural House - facility 1.

In group B, the dredging and renovation project of Ba Trieu canal will be inaugurated.

For group C projects, 4 projects will start: Tan Chanh Hiep Park construction project (Tan Chanh Hiep fish pond area); Ward 10 Outdoor Sports Center construction project, District 6; Binh Tho Communal House restoration and embellishment project; Linh Tay Communal House restoration and embellishment project.

The 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030, is expected to take place over 3 days, officially opening on October 14, 2025.

The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has notified the Party Committees of communes, wards, special zones and the Party Committees at the grassroots level directly under the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee to directly disseminate to each delegate attending the Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, arrange work, and fully attend the content and working program of the congress.

Specifically, on October 11 and 12, delegates participated in pre-congress activities. Among them, there was a program to visit economic, cultural, social, defense and security projects and models in the city (October 12).

On the morning of October 13, delegates attended the Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, preparatory session.

All day on October 14 and the morning of October 15, delegates attended the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, the official and closing sessions.
