Saigon Marina IFC is one of 80 key projects inaugurated and started construction to celebrate the 80th National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), and at the same time marks the starting milestone for the construction of the International Financial Center in Ho Chi Minh City.
The building consists of 55 floors and 5 basements, with a total floor area of over 106,000 m², of which approximately 87,000 m² is for Class A offices. The remaining area is arranged as a commercial center, restaurant, meeting room space and high-end amenities. This is one of the three tallest towers in Vietnam, designed according to LEED Gold standards, with energy-saving and environmentally friendly solutions, in which more than 30% of the area is planned for green space.

The architectural highlight of the tower is the full-facade LED system capable of displaying vivid artistic lighting, combined with a modern water music square, helping Saigon Marina IFC become a "lighthouse" of the modern urban economy .
This is also a project applying the TOD (Transit-Oriented Development) model, directly connecting Ba Son station - Metro line 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien). Basement B2 of the tower is designed to connect with Ba Son underground station; the tower campus owns gates 4 and 5 of Metro line 1.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc said that Saigon Marina IFC has the mission of becoming a convergence point of intelligence, financial resources and technology. This will be the headquarters of financial institutions, multinational corporations, and at the same time a starting point for initiatives, entrepreneurial aspirations and ideas to connect Vietnam more deeply with the global economic flow.

“Today’s event not only adds another landmark project to Ho Chi Minh City, but also marks an important step forward in the journey to build Ho Chi Minh City into an international financial center - a key driving force of the Vietnamese economy in the new development stage. This is a vivid demonstration of the determination of the Party, State, Government and the spirit of companionship, creativity and dedication of the business community,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.
The Deputy Prime Minister believes that Saigon Marina IFC will become a symbol of integration, a new heartbeat of Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to bringing the city on par with major financial centers in the region and the world.
Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Vice President of HDBank, shared that Saigon Marina is the first number of Ton Duc Thang Street, located in the Financial Center of Ho Chi Minh City. This place will be a meeting place for banks, financial institutions, technology and logistics corporations with more than 10,000 experts working daily.
According to Ms. Thao, the private economic sector, in the spirit of Resolution 68, is affirming its pioneering role. More than 250 projects started and inaugurated nationwide today are vivid proof of the strength of solidarity, the aspiration to rise up and the resilient will of the Vietnamese people.
“On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, I bow my head in gratitude to the heroic spirits of generations of fathers and brothers who pacified the land and sky, so that today our nation's businesses can fight in the marketplace with the highest will and honesty,” said Ms. Thao.

In its strategic vision, the Ho Chi Minh City International Financial Center will be a place to concentrate capital, technology and human resources from financial institutions, banks, and large investment funds according to the industry cluster model; provide financial and banking services, deploy Fintech sandbox, promote innovation; at the same time, form international commodity and derivatives exchanges, develop supply chain services, logistics and seaports.
According to Resolution 222/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly, the establishment of an International Financial Center in Ho Chi Minh City is a long-term strategic orientation, aiming to turn the city into a destination for capital flows and regional financial activities. Saigon Marina IFC is the first project to start this journey, providing standard infrastructure for global financial institutions, businesses and investors.
