On the morning of June 1st, the Vinh Long Newspaper Center organized a survey on the purchase and reading of Vinh Long Newspaper in Cang Long commune. The delegation was led by Mr. Tran Van Phuong, Deputy Director of Vinh Long Newspaper, Radio and Television, and Deputy Director of the Vinh Long Newspaper Center.

Receiving and working with the delegation were comrades: Tran Van An - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee; Nguyen Thi Thu Thao - Head of the Party Building Committee of the Commune Party Committee, along with comrades from the Party Committee Office and secretaries of the Party branches in the hamlets of Cang Long commune.

Reporting on the situation of newspaper purchase and reading in the area, the leaders of the Party Committee of Cang Long commune stated: In the past period, the Party Committee of the commune has implemented and disseminated to the Party branches the role and significance of reading Party newspapers. This includes encouraging cadres and Party members to regularly study and update official information to serve their work and regular Party branch meetings.

Specifically, in December 2025, the Party Committee of Cang Long commune ordered 22 issues of Vinh Long Newspaper for 25 hamlet and neighborhood Party branches in the commune. This contributed to the dissemination of the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws to cadres and Party members at the grassroots level.

However, the leaders of the Party Committee of Cang Long commune also pointed out some difficulties in ordering Vinh Long Newspaper to distribute to the hamlet Party branches in the area, such as: the number of cadres and civil servants in the Party Committee Office is small, and the workload is heavy, making it impossible to distribute newspapers to each Party branch every day. In addition, the offices of the hamlet Party branches do not operate during fixed office hours, so arranging time to receive newspapers daily is difficult, and the efficiency of utilization is not high.

Accordingly, the leaders of the Cang Long Commune Party Committee proposed that Vinh Long Newspaper and Radio and Television further research suitable distribution methods for the local area after the merger, such as publishing weekly newspapers or comprehensive weekly/monthly publications. At the same time, they suggested strengthening the development of online newspapers to provide information quickly and serve propaganda work at the grassroots level.

Based on the opinions exchanged by delegates at the survey, Mr. Tran Van Phuong - Deputy Director of Vinh Long Newspaper and Radio and Television, and Deputy Director of Vinh Long Newspaper Center - acknowledged and highly appreciated the coordination and cooperation between the locality and Vinh Long Newspaper Center in the past period.

Looking ahead, Comrade Tran Van Phuong hopes that the local authorities will continue to cooperate and create favorable conditions for reporters from the Vinh Long Newspaper Center to work in the area; promptly provide information, and contribute to spreading positive information about the locality to readers near and far.

In addition, Comrade Tran Van Phuong also expressed his wish that the Party Committee leaders of Cang Long commune would pay attention to encouraging and creating conditions for cadres, civil servants, and employees to regularly cooperate and share news and articles on Vinh Long Newspaper, contributing to helping the two units successfully complete their assigned political tasks.
