Located on the left bank of the Lam River, bordering Con Cuong district, Tam Son commune (Anh Son district) is a remote and disadvantaged area with difficult socio -economic conditions. However, Tam Son commune has preserved its beautiful landscape and cultural identity, which are crucial factors for tourism development. Recognizing this, the People's Committee of Tam Son commune has developed a tourism development plan based on the available local resources.

Upon arriving in Tam Son commune, at the border with Dinh Son commune, travelers will be amazed to see a colorful flower garden, exuding a fragrant aroma, along the inter-communal road. This flower garden is planted and cared for by women in Tam Son commune to promote the image of their homeland, aiming to attract tourists from near and far to this picturesque land beside the Lam River.
Here, many kinds of flowers bloom together, and there are photo spots where travelers can stop and take beautiful pictures. In the corner of the flower garden, a sign reads "Tam Son invites you to visit," and this place is called the "Gateway to Happiness." That alone is enough to show the openness and hospitality of the people and leave a good impression on anyone who has the opportunity to visit this place.

Currently, Tam Son commune is implementing a tourism development plan. In addition to the flower garden and check-in point, the commune is developing several other projects. Among them, the peony flower field with tens of thousands of newly planted trees stands out, designed to create a beautiful landscape and attract tourists.
In the not-too-distant future, this will be a place where tourists can enjoy the scenery, admire the views, and immerse themselves in a space full of colors and fragrances.

Near the peony fields is the Tam Son rocky beach tourist area, beside the gently flowing Lam River. This place boasts a pristine landscape, with rocky beaches running along the riverbank and endless stretches of forest.
The Tam Son rocky beach tourist area will attract visitors with its tree-lined paths and cafes nestled next to centuries-old trees.
Here, you can hear the "singing" of the river, the "whispers" of the wind through the branches, and the chirping of forest birds as they move from branch to branch. This means embracing the enchanting sounds of nature and immersing yourself in the vastness of the forest, helping to cast aside worries and anxieties, and providing moments of tranquility after the stresses of daily life, especially during the sweltering summer days.

In particular, the rocky area boasts hundreds of ancient kapok trees, and every year in March, their vibrant red blossoms paint a corner of the sky. As part of its tourism development plan, Tam Son commune intends to organize a Kapok Flower Festival in March with unique cultural and sporting activities to attract tourists from all over.
In addition, Tam Son commune is developing a community tourism destination in Khe Gat village, home to the Thai ethnic minority, with its distinctive cultural features. Currently, the commune is conducting surveys to build homestays and selecting members for a culinary team and a performing arts team.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Que, Chairman of the Tam Son Commune People's Committee, the local tourism development plan aims to build and develop tourism products and services that reflect the region's unique cultural identity and are closely connected to nature, making them competitive with other localities. Simultaneously, it will organize cultural and tourism events to attract visitors and contribute to tourism growth.
Tourism has been identified as a key economic sector, so Tam Son commune is implementing a development plan based on exploiting and maximizing its potential and advantages. Along with efforts in building and promoting its brand, we sincerely hope to receive guidance and support from all levels and sectors of the tourism industry during the implementation of this plan.
