Reward for the project that arrested 2 subjects and seized 500 kg of drugs in Quang Tri

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the morning of October 9, the Border Guard Command coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee of Quang Tri province to reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in successfully fighting against project QT925.3, seizing 500 kg of drugs.

The Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard Command said that through information, the unit discovered a large drug trafficking ring from Laos to Vietnam, so it established Project QT925.3 to fight and prevent it. The project team determined two plans, deploying 12 working groups with 120 comrades and full equipment, weapons, and support tools.

At 4:00 p.m. on October 5, at Dan Hoa commune, Quang Tri province, the Professional Department of the Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard coordinated with the Cha Lo International Border Guard Station to arrest two Laotian subjects, confiscating 500 kg of various drugs, mainly methamphetamine and some other evidence. The process of fighting the case was absolutely safe.

Two Laotian subjects were arrested in project QT925.3 with evidence including 500kg of drugs.

With the outstanding achievements of Project Team QT925.3, the Ministry of National Defense decided to award in cash the amount of 85 million VND to Project Team QT952.3 and Cha Lo International Border Guard Station.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province also gave an extraordinary reward of 20 million VND to the QT 925.3 Project Board under the Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard Command and 15 million VND to the Cha Lo International Border Gate Border Guard Station, and decided to award certificates of merit to 2 groups and 12 individuals of the Provincial Border Guard.
