Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism: Training on science, technology and innovation activities in 2025
In tourism, science and technology and innovation support post-pandemic recovery, the development of smart tourism, digital tourism, green and sustainable tourism, and the improvement of destination management efficiency and visitor experience.
For journalism, publishing, and media, science and technology are transforming the way information is produced, distributed, and received, fostering content innovation, expanding multi-platform access, and contributing to ensuring the guiding role, integrity, and professional ethics in the digital environment.

Deputy Minister Phan Tam stated that, entering a new phase, Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo has clearly identified the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation as a top priority breakthrough.
No longer just "supporting factors," science, technology, and innovation have become the driving force restructuring how we preserve, create, communicate, and develop across the entire fields of culture, sports, and tourism.
Deputy Minister Phan Tam expressed that the workshop was not only an academic forum but also shaped thinking and laid the foundation for the direction of scientific research, technology, and innovation in the industry for the next 10 years.
Developing culture, sports, and tourism requires a shift in mindset, considering science, technology, and innovation as the foundation for policy planning, improving management efficiency, and promoting the entire sector's adaptation to modern development trends.

On an international level, international organizations, including UNESCO, agree on several fundamental research directions: access to knowledge and cultural diversity in the digital environment; AI ethics and technology for humanity; heritage preservation linked to communities and sustainable development; and communication for sustainable development.
The workshop focused on discussing several key issues, including summarizing scientific and technological activities during the 2020-2025 period; evaluating achievements, identifying shortcomings and limitations; and determining the scientific, technological, and innovation tasks of the sector until 2030.
In particular, the workshop attracted participation and contributions from a large number of managers, experts, and scientists, with many in-depth and practical presentations.
Through these exchanges, discussions, and workshops, the event is seen as an important starting point, contributing to shaping new thinking and approaches to scientific and technological research and innovation.
This will gradually enhance the leading role of science, technology, and innovation in the sustainable development of the culture, sports, and tourism sector in the coming period.

Deputy Minister Phan Tam expressed confidence that, entering 2026, science, technology, and innovation within the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will continue to play a key driving role, contributing to building an advanced culture rich in national identity; developing sustainable sports; and promoting tourism in a modern and efficient direction.
At the same time, a healthy and professional media system will be formed, thereby making a practical contribution to the goal of rapid and sustainable development of the country by 2030 and beyond.
