Astonishing gap between Chelsea's valuations of Nicolas Jackson and Garnacho

United will have to pay a significant sum if they want to swap Garnacho for Nicolas Jackson, due to the huge difference in Chelsea's valuation of the pair.

The Red Devils are looking to sell Garnacho in the summer transfer window, with the Argentine no longer in Amorim's long-term plans.

The Portuguese strategist asked Garnacho to find a new destination, because he himself was unhappy about having to sit on the bench in the Europa League final.

With MU still on the hunt for a true striker, the club hopes that getting rid of Garnacho, Antony or Sancho can speed up the process.

A player exchange deal between Nicolas Jackson and Garnacho is being discussed, as MU are interested in the Senegalese striker, while Chelsea are also quite interested in Garnacho.

According to the Independent, Chelsea have set a transfer fee of £80 million for Jackson. However, they value Garnacho significantly lower in the transfer market, at just £50 million.

The valuation gap is a major hurdle in any player swap deal between the two clubs.

Joining Chelsea in the summer of 2023, Nicolas Jackson has so far scored 30 goals in 81 matches in all competitions, including 24 goals in the Premier League.

Jackson is under contract with Chelsea until 2033 but faces huge competition this season, with the arrivals of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap.

MU wants to collect 70 million pounds from the sale of Garnacho. However, in the context of the young Argentine talent "not selling well", they will have to consider reducing the asking price.
