The lush green tunnel in the middle of Thai Nguyen's mountains and forests, as beautiful as Europe, is causing a stir online.

(Dan Tri) - The video, which has attracted hundreds of thousands of views, captures the scene of a car gently passing through a lush green tunnel in the middle of a mountain forest, creating a very poetic moment.

In the middle of the wild mountains and forests of Ban Loan, Yen Thinh, Cho Don, Bac Kan (old), now in Thai Nguyen province, there is still a tunnel silently telling a story from hundreds of years ago.

It is an old French tunnel, built to transport ore. Today, the tunnel is still there, but moss covers the path and the green vegetation tells an old story. Beautiful and poetic, but this area is little known, until now, almost only locals visit.

However, in the past month or so, on many social media platforms, videos recording tourists' experiences while passing through this place have attracted a large number of viewers. In mid-July, Tran Huy (Hanoi) had the opportunity to travel here during his trip to Thai Nguyen.

Being a motorbike enthusiast, when he found out about this location and looked it up on Google, he decided to go. According to Huy, the route was not too difficult.

If going from the center of Cho Don district (old) to Yen Thinh commune, tourists follow the inter-provincial road to Tuyen Quang , they will see the gate with the name of Ban Loan village, turn about 700m-800m from the gate to reach. Going a little further, they will reach the area with a stream, creating a peaceful scene.

"In the tunnel, there are some sections where water seeps from the walls and flows down like rain. Going a little further, visitors can experience one side of the tunnel, the other side is a cool stream, so it is very cool in the summer. Sometimes, local farmers still pass through this area," Huy said.

Immediately, the video received a lot of interaction from the online community. Many people expressed surprise because they did not think that Bac Kan (old) had such a beautiful place. The specific address as well as how to get here is also information that many people are interested in.

Some people even associate it with the Green Tunnel in Ukraine, a famous tourist attraction called the "Tunnel of Love" located near the town of Klenvan. In fact, it is just a 4.9km long railway covered by rows of dense green trees creating a beautiful natural tunnel.

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter , Mr. Ma Chi Hieu, Chairman of Yen Thinh Commune People's Committee, said that this destination is attractive, but is still not known by many people.

According to Mr. Hieu, previously, traveling to this area had certain limitations. Up to now, people and tourists from all over can come and experience it because this place has now become an inter-village road.

If departing from Bac Can city (old), tourists travel about 70-80km. Because of the mountainous road, traveling will be more difficult, especially on rainy and windy days.

"The terrain in this area is very humid, so it is slippery during the rainy season. To ensure safety, visitors need to be careful when traveling, especially on days with unfavorable weather," Mr. Hieu noted.

Currently, the surrounding area is still limited because there are no food services or accompanying facilities, however, the local authorities still hope that if tourism demand increases, there will be an opportunity to develop into an attractive destination, exploiting the potential for sustainable tourism.
