“Hanoi - Thousand-year-old spirit - Rising to shine”: The proud epic of the Capital in the new era

This is a special art event organized by the Hanoi Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, aiming to honor the success of the Congress, spread new spirit and new motivation throughout the entire Party, people and army of the Capital; at the same time, arouse the pride, sense of responsibility and aspiration to reach higher and further of each Hanoian.

The heroic song of Hanoi under the glorious flag of the Party

The program carries a strong message of faith and ideals, where tradition and the desire for innovation intersect, between the nation's lasting values and strategic vision for the future.

Going beyond the framework of a regular art program, the event is a call and inspiration urging each child of the capital to act and contribute for a comprehensive and sustainable development of Hanoi under the glorious flag of the Party.

In the light of the Resolution of the 18th Congress, the art program is both an event to close a term and an event to welcome a new beginning - a journey to accompany the people in building a rich, civilized, modern, integrated and sustainably developed Hanoi, worthy of its central role, a symbol of creativity, bringing great spiritual values, making the Capital a bright spot of culture, politics and society in the eyes of domestic and international friends.

The art program “Hanoi - Thousand-year Spirit - Rising to Shine” takes the idea of the bamboo tree as the main axis, symbolizing the strong vitality, nobility, resilience and solidarity of the Vietnamese people as well as the people of the capital. That spirit is harmoniously combined with the image of Phu Dong Thien Vuong - a symbol of youth and the desire to break through, thereby expressing the intersection between traditional and modern values, inspiring a thousand-year-old cultural Hanoi entering an era of innovative thinking, creativity and a strong desire to rise.

Aspiration for the Capital to reach far and shine

Elaborately staged, unique and modern, the program takes place in 3 chapters, recreating the historical flow and future of the Capital. In which, chapter I - "Heroic Hanoi" recreates the heroic historical journey of Hanoi and the City Party Committee from the early days of the revolution until the country was reunited. This is also an epic song praising the Party, beloved President Ho Chi Minh, and at the same time a deep gratitude to the generations who have contributed on all fronts to build and protect the Capital.

Chapter II - "Hanoi - Convergence and Spread" opens a panoramic picture of Hanoi today - a thousand-year-old civilized and heroic Capital, gradually affirming its new appearance: Civilized - civilized - modern - prosperous - happy.

Chapter III - “Hanoi reaches out to shine” is the crystallization of emotions. Hanoi emerges as a city of youth and intelligence; like a bamboo tree reaching up to the sky, Hanoi people, especially the young generation, carry within them a spirit of great determination, endless creativity, solidarity and aspiration to break through, to build an increasingly prosperous and happy capital, forever worthy of being the loving and proud heart of the whole country.

In the program, the audience enjoyed special performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho, praising the capital Hanoi with its thousand years of civilization and bright future, such as: "The Party Flag", "The Party's Call to the Heart", "August Nineteen", "National Defense Army", "Will Return to the Capital", "Marching to Hanoi", "Hanoi People's Song", "Hanoi's Spirit", "Remembering Hanoi", "Hanoi with 12 Flower Seasons", "Hanoi Baby", "Love the Fatherland, Love the People", "Hanoi and the Works", "Are You the Autumn of Hanoi", "Spring in the Rice and Flower Villages", "Sacred and Gallant Hanoi", "Will You Still Be a Vietnamese in the Next Life", "Phu Dong Thien Vuong", "On the Road", "Youthful Aspirations", "Hello Hanoi of the Future", "Love of the Country", "Vietnam, Let's Step to Glory"...

Contributing to the program's mark are beloved performing artists such as Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, semi-classical nightingale Pham Thu Ha; singers and artists Duc Phuc, Anh Tu, singer Kieu Anh, Dong Hung, Ngoc Anh, Quan AP, Nguyen Tran Trung Quan, Dinh Manh Ninh, Thu Hang, Thu Thuy, Rapper RamC, Luu Quoc Vuong... along with the choir and dance troupe.
