According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, in the first 11 months of 2025, coffee exports reached 1.4 million tons, worth 7.88 billion USD. Thanks to the sharp increase in coffee prices, export value increased by 60%, although output increased by only 14% compared to the same period.
During this period, the average export price was estimated at 5,668 USD per ton, up 40% compared to the previous year. This development helped businesses benefit greatly from the international market, especially in the context of Robusta and Arabica coffee prices at multi-year highs.
Germany, Italy and Spain continue to be the three most important markets for Vietnamese coffee. In Germany alone, the value of coffee imports from Vietnam increased by 95% in 10 months, increasing its market share from 21% to 24%. Although total coffee imports into Germany decreased slightly, Vietnam still maintained its position as the second largest supplier.
Experts say the European market still has a lot of potential, especially for high-quality products such as deep-processed coffee, specialty coffee and certified coffee. Taking advantage of the EVFTA will help increase the value of coffee exports and strengthen Vietnam's position in the global supply chain.

In the 10 months, Robusta exports reached nearly 1.08 million tons, worth 5.54 billion USD. The growth came from export coffee prices being 60% higher than the same period last year, helping this staple maintain a large contribution to the industry.
Arabica exports reached 62,900 tons, up more than 8% in volume and more than 108% in value. Notably, processed coffee became a new driving force with revenue of 1.46 billion USD, up 58% over the same period, showing a strong shift to value-added products.
The trend of increasing the proportion of processed and high-quality products contributes to strengthening Vietnam's position in the global supply chain. The structure of the coffee industry is shifting towards increasing value, combined with increasing export coffee prices, creating a great advantage for Vietnam in the international market.
