Many activities to honor the value of Yen Tu world heritage

In order to preserve, promote and spread the value of Yen Tu World Heritage, from now until the end of 2025, Yen Tu ward (Quang Ninh province) plans to organize the festival "Yen Tu - Autumn Zen Colors" with a series of attractive cultural, sports and tourism events.

Accordingly, the "Yen Tu - Zen Autumn Colors" Festival will last for about 3 months, from September to December 2025 at the Yen Tu Special National Monument and a number of relic sites and tourist areas in the ward.

Within the framework of the festival, there will be a series of activities: Artistic creation about Yen Tu in autumn, photo contest "Yen Tu Autumn"; poetry and music competitions and performances about Yen Tu; exhibition of art works about Yen Tu; lantern making contest; lantern procession associated with Mid-Autumn Festival; campfire exchange, Mid-Autumn lantern procession, combined with flower lantern procession and release; introduction of typical cultural features of the Dao Thanh Y people...

In particular, the "Yen Tu Heritage - Touching the Heritage Area" race is scheduled to take place from November 15-16 to attract thousands of athletes to participate and experience activities at Yen Tu.

On this occasion, tourists will be able to participate in a series of unique activities at the foot of Yen Tu mountain: "Dawn on top of Dong Pagoda" experience tour, "Journey following the footsteps of King Tran Nhan Tong", "Dieu am Yen Tu mountain" art performance program, "Quintessence of Vietnamese culture" music show; "Legend of Nuong Village" tour...

In addition, visitors can also experience horse riding services; shooting plastic bullets with bottle caps; archery; participating in folk games; visiting and experiencing the countryside market and Yen Tu vegetarian cuisine...

Previously, from mid-July to early September 2025, activities took place to celebrate Party Congresses at all levels, and the event of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son and Kiep Bac relics and landscapes being recognized by UNESCO as world cultural heritages.

These activities include: Launching the logo creation contest of the ward; announcing the Khe Song - Thac Bac tourist destination, launching digital tourism products, VR360 virtual reality tours of the historical relics of Hang Son Temple and Pagoda, Ho Mountain Cave - Xep Bang Mountain Cave associated with tourism stimulus activities in 2025; Yen Tu Ultra trial race "Discovering heritage - Spreading the quintessence".

With the "Yen Tu - Autumn Zen Colors" Festival, the locality not only wishes to promote the beauty of the heritage, promote the ideological value of Truc Lam Zen but also diversify cultural and spiritual tourism products, associated with the sustainable development of the relic site and Yen Tu tourism brand.
