Arouse and spread the tradition of "Respecting teachers and valuing education"

On the afternoon of August 20, at Hanoi College of Arts, the Ministry of Education and Training held the launching ceremony of the writing contest "Deep memories of teachers and school" in 2025 to spread the tradition of studiousness and the spirit of gratitude to dedicated and creative teachers who are always devoted to the cause of education.

According to the Organizing Committee, the content of the entries focuses on profound memories of teachers and schools, profound impressions of teachers that the author loves and admires, or the special impacts and influences of teachers on learning, perception, and changes in the author's personal life (or the author's friends and relatives)...

Participants are Vietnamese citizens whose works comply with the contest rules. There is no limit to the number of works submitted by each author. The deadline for receiving entries is from the launch date to October 31, 2025 at the email address: cuocthi.gdtd@gmail.com.

The competition's closing and award ceremony is expected to be held in November 2025.

At the ceremony, Journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam, Editor-in-Chief of Education and Times Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, emphasized that this year's contest was launched in the atmosphere of celebrating the 80th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day September 2, an event of special significance not only for the education sector but also for the whole society. The contest has become a humane activity, arousing and spreading the tradition of "respecting teachers" - a precious value of the Vietnamese people.

The contest aims to honor and disseminate the experiences of homeroom teachers with good feelings, work and achievements by encouraging students, teachers, education managers and parents to write about their profound memories of homeroom teachers and homeroom work.

Speaking in response to the contest, Vu Bao Tran, a student of the Faculty of Auditing and Banking, International Training Institute (Academy of Finance) expressed: This is not only an annual ceremony, but also an important milestone, continuing the tradition of respecting teachers, recording the journey of gratitude to teachers and the school that has been nurtured from previous contests.

According to Vu Bao Tran, teachers are always likened to the "ferrymen of knowledge" who silently and quietly, devotedly bring generations of students to the shore of knowledge. The silent sacrifices, the thoughtful lectures, and the strict reminders - all have become invaluable provisions on the path of life...
