The program is aimed at contributing to improving the health and quality of life of Vietnamese youth, especially the age group of 10-24.
The Ministry of Education and Training has just coordinated with AstraZeneca Group and Plan International Vietnam to launch the second phase of the "Vietnam Youth Health" program (2023-2025), focusing on youth health and preventive interventions for common non-communicable diseases, such as cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and chronic lung disease.
The program is aimed at improving the health and quality of life of Vietnamese youth, especially the 10-24 age group. The program aims to provide knowledge and skills related to the prevention of non-communicable diseases directly to about 49,300 Vietnamese youth in 29 high schools and universities; provide information to about 300,000 people in the community through awareness-raising communication activities.
