The Ministry of Education and Training, in collaboration with AstraZeneca and Plan International Vietnam, has launched the second phase (2023-2025) of the "Vietnam Youth Health" program, focusing on youth health and preventive interventions for common non-communicable diseases such as cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and chronic lung disease.

It seeks to provide knowledge and skills related to the prevention of non-communicable diseases directly to approximately 49,300 Vietnamese youth in 29 high schools and universities; and to provide information to approximately 300,000 people in the community through awareness-raising communication activities.
