Provincial leaders attending the event included: Nguyen Dinh Trung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Ta Anh Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Huynh Thi Chien Hoa - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, former provincial leaders, business associations, investors and people in the project area.
The Hoa Tam Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction and Business Investment Project - Phase 1 is invested by Hoa Tam Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company (under Hoa Phat Group); with a land use scale of about 491.87 hectares; total investment capital of about 4,188 billion VND. The project is invested in synchronous infrastructure construction with the goal of serving the formation of the Hoa Phat Iron and Steel Complex with a capacity of 6 million tons/year, total investment capital of about 84,000 billion VND, creating jobs for more than 24,000 workers and other supporting industries.
Bai Goc Port Construction Investment Project invested by Bai Goc Phu Yen Port Joint Stock Company (under Hoa Phat Group) has a total area of about 306.91 hectares, with a total investment of about 16,300 billion VND. The project has a scale of 12 ports, capable of receiving ships with a capacity of up to 220,000 DWT fully loaded. The design capacity is 26.7 million tons/year, with products and services provided: Loading, unloading, storing and transporting goods to directly serve the needs of forming and developing Hoa Tam industrial park, oil refinery complex, metallurgy and energy industry.

At the launching ceremony, the Provincial People's Committee presented the Decision approving the investment policy of the Bai Goc Port Construction Investment Project to the representative of Bai Goc Phu Yen Port Joint Stock Company (under Hoa Phat Group).
Chairman of Hoa Phat Group Tran Dinh Long said: The implementation of the projects aims to realize the Group's commitments to the Government and Dak Lak province. With its tradition and experience over the past 33 years, Hoa Phat will implement the above projects very quickly and effectively. After the projects are completed, they will raise Vietnam's position on the world steel industry map, contribute to the state budget, and create jobs for 15,000 workers, especially local workers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan emphasized: In the socio-economic development strategy, Dak Lak province has determined that Nam Phu Yen Economic Zone will become an important industrial, urban, service, logistics and seaport center of the South Central Coast and Central Highlands regions, an important driving force for the province's development. The province also firmly believes that development must go hand in hand with environmental protection. The province does not accept trading the environment for the economy. During the project implementation, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested agencies, units and localities to pay utmost attention to the lives of people affected by the project. The province will best implement mechanisms and policies on compensation, support and resettlement for people, ensuring that the new place of residence is better than the old place.
In the coming time, the provincial leaders hope to continue to receive consensus, sharing and support from all the people to implement projects for the common goal of sustainable socio-economic development, improving the quality of life, bringing prosperity and happiness to the people.
