(CLO) On February 7th, the Phu Tho Provincial Journalists Association, in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Department of Information and Communications of Phu Tho province, organized the opening ceremony of the Spring Press Festival 2025. This is an opportunity for journalists to exchange ideas, improve their professional skills, and receive feedback from readers to continuously improve and enhance the quality of journalism.

The Phu Tho Spring Press Festival 2025 features 10 booths displaying press and publishing products from the following units: Phu Tho Provincial Journalists Association, Department of Information and Communications, Phu Tho Newspaper, Phu Tho Radio and Television Station, Dat To Literature and Arts Magazine, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism , Department of Foreign Affairs, Military Region 2 Newspaper, press agencies with offices in the province, and Hung Vuong University.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Vu Xuan Chuong, Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial Journalists Association, affirmed: Journalism is a bridge between the Party and the people, and an effective channel for disseminating information about the policies and guidelines of the Party and the State. With the theme "Convergence - Integration - Development," the 2025 Spring Press Festival is an opportunity to introduce and promote the cultural, journalistic, and publishing activities of Phu Tho province and the whole country to the public and readers.

Each publication demonstrates intellectual investment, dedication, and the responsibility of journalists and media organizations towards the public and the people.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huy Ngoc affirmed: With a sense of responsibility and affection for their homeland, news agencies and the press have always accompanied and vividly reflected all aspects of the socio-economic life of Phu Tho province. The press always closely follows reality, reflecting issues of public concern in many fields of activity in Phu Tho province.

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province, Nguyen Huy Ngoc, delivered a speech at the ceremony.

"This information helps provincial leaders grasp and handle issues promptly and effectively; at the same time, it becomes an important channel in leadership, direction, and management, contributing to adjusting and improving policies and promoting the comprehensive development of Phu Tho province," the Vice Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee emphasized.
