DTO - In recent times, industrial promotion activities in Dong Thap province have achieved many positive results. The industrial promotion program has helped many enterprises and rural industrial establishments in the province make breakthroughs in production and business activities. Many products originating from Dong Thap province are increasingly popular, affirming their position in the domestic and export markets.

In 2023, from the local KC budget, the Dong Thap Center for Industrial Promotion and Development Consulting (TTKC&TVPTCN) supported 17 projects to apply advanced machinery and equipment to production for 22 industrial parks with industries such as: mechanical industry, agricultural - forestry - fishery processing industry, food processing industry. The types of supporting machinery are quite diverse in types such as: mini rice milling machine, rice color sorter, solar heating dryer, cold dryer, freeze dryer, packaging machine, CNC Laser metal cutting and engraving machine, machinery serving other production processes (filling machine, can seaming machine...). With the timely "support" from the KC program, it has helped businesses improve productivity, expand markets and contribute to solving employment for rural workers.

Tan Duong Dong Thap Company Limited, An Binh A Ward, Hong Ngu City is one of 22 units that Dong Thap Center for Food Safety and Technology supported with advanced machinery and equipment for production in the past year. With timely support and equipment of a 1.8T rock sugar production machine for a closed production line, the company has helped save labor, reduce production costs, improve the quality of finished products, create products that meet food safety and hygiene needs, and open up opportunities in developing the consumer market. Mr. Tran Hoai Tan - Director of Tan Duong Dong Thap Company Limited, shared: “KC capital is really an important support, helping our company have more conditions to invest in applying advanced machinery and equipment in the production process. From there, we will gradually expand the production scale, improve productivity and product quality, increase competitiveness in the market, contributing to creating jobs and stable income for many local workers. Currently, the company's rock sugar products are widely distributed in many provinces and cities across the country. The company will develop a number of new product lines to meet increasingly diverse market needs.”

In addition to supporting advanced machinery in production, the Dong Thap Center for Industrial Technology Promotion and Development also focuses on promoting the selection of typical IT products at all levels. In 2023, the Center will coordinate with the Economic / Economic - Infrastructure Departments of districts and cities to organize the selection of typical IT products at the provincial level, with 37 products recognized. In addition, in 2023, Dong Thap will have 4 products recognized as typical IT products at the national level. In order to help products certified as typical IT products at all levels to be widely introduced and promoted, every year, the Center creates favorable conditions and supports enterprises and production facilities to participate in fairs and exhibitions inside and outside the province.

Mr. Tao Tan Tai - Director of Dong Thap Center for Technology and Information Technology said that in the past year, the Center has coordinated with provincial departments, branches, Economic/Economic - Infrastructure Departments of districts and cities to effectively implement technology projects. Thereby, the quality of the projects has been increasingly improved and has had a clear impact on the development of local technology. Projects to support machinery and equipment for acceptance and operation have helped enterprises and establishments increase capacity and product quality, contributing to increasing income for workers. Technology support projects also help spread and encourage establishments to innovate, improve technology, promote production, improve product quality, increase product value, thereby improving competitiveness and expanding the consumer market.
