Khanh Hoa's industrial promotion program is stepping up support for digital transformation.

Khanh Hoa province is shifting its industrial promotion activities from simply supporting machinery to enhancing management capacity, digital transformation, and technological innovation for rural enterprises. This new approach is expected to help production facilities improve their competitiveness, expand their markets, and better adapt to the demands of integration.

In 2025, industrial promotion activities in Khanh Hoa province will see a clear shift in approach. Instead of primarily supporting machinery and equipment as before, the program will prioritize improving management capacity, business skills, market adaptability, and supporting digital transformation for businesses and rural industrial establishments. This is considered a suitable direction in the context of increasingly deep economic integration.

According to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, the focus of support is on training courses in e-commerce, branding, electronic invoicing, taxation, green circular economy, and digital transformation. Through these courses, businesses are gradually changing their production mindset, adopting modern business models, and effectively utilizing digital platforms.

Many local specialty products such as grapes, garlic, onions, fish sauce, and handicrafts are being promoted through digital channels, contributing to market expansion and increased product value. Production facilities are also being guided on selling their products on e-commerce platforms and social media.

Notably, the province supports businesses in accessing international standards, especially Halal standards, in order to expand exports to Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Middle East region, in coordination with the Center for Technical Standards, Metrology and Quality 2.

Alongside digital transformation, Khanh Hoa continues to support in-depth investment in production. In 2025, the province allocated 675 million VND to support 5 projects applying advanced machinery, contributing to reducing manual labor, increasing productivity, and improving product quality.

Another noteworthy point is that procedures for project registration, funding approval, acceptance testing, and selection of outstanding rural industrial products are gradually being implemented online. This helps businesses reduce travel time and costs, while also enhancing transparency and management efficiency.

Increase support for digital transformation and technological innovation.

To ensure that industrial promotion activities continue to be a driving force for rural industrial development in the new phase, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province has just issued the Industrial Promotion Program for the period 2026-2030. The program focuses on supporting rural industrial establishments and small and medium-sized enterprises in technological innovation, improving productivity, product quality, and competitiveness. At the same time, it aims to effectively exploit the potential and advantages of each locality to create further impetus for socio-economic development.

Over the next five years, the province aims to support the construction of three technical demonstration models; implement 100 projects applying advanced machinery and equipment; organize three rounds of selection for outstanding rural industrial products; and support the development of two trademarks, three showrooms, and one provincial-level trade fair.

Trade promotion activities, product advertising, trademark registration support, and market connection efforts continue to be intensified to create favorable conditions for rural industrial establishments to expand their output, enhance product value, and gradually build local brands.

Along with supporting production, Khanh Hoa province places special emphasis on training and capacity building to improve the management and operation of production and business activities for rural industrial establishments. The province plans to organize 15 conferences, seminars, and training courses to equip businesses and production facilities with management knowledge, operational skills, and updates on new development trends.

In addition to capacity-building activities for industrial promotion staff, information and communication about industrial promotion mechanisms and policies continue to be strengthened to help organizations and individuals effectively access state support policies; and at the same time encourage the application of cleaner production, aiming towards sustainable production and consumption models.

To effectively implement the Program, the Provincial People's Committee has assigned relevant departments and agencies to review and refine mechanisms and policies on industrial promotion activities in accordance with new regulations; develop annual implementation plans and provide guidance on the implementation of projects in accordance with regulations.

The Khanh Hoa Department of Industry and Trade is assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to implement the Program. For the People's Committees of communes and wards, the province requires them to strengthen the dissemination of industrial promotion policies to the people and rural industrial establishments; proactively develop annual industrial promotion plans, and allocate commune-level budget funds to effectively implement support activities in their areas.
