Inspect the activities of organizations and individuals doing business in real estate trading floors and real estate brokerage.

Khanh Hoa Department of Construction has just sent a document to organizations and individuals doing business in real estate services (real estate trading floors, real estate brokers); individuals practicing real estate brokerage about surprise inspections, periodic inspections and handling of organizations and individuals with activities related to this field in the province.

Accordingly, the Department of Construction proposes: For organizations and individuals doing business in real estate trading floor services and real estate brokerage that have not met the prescribed conditions, it is required to temporarily suspend operations from the date of signing this document and strictly prohibit real estate trading services when they do not meet the prescribed conditions; at the same time, ensure transparency, management, supervision, surprise inspections and post information on the electronic information page of the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Construction, and request that organizations and individuals who meet the conditions for business operations must declare information according to regulations. For individuals practicing real estate brokerage, the Department requires that they can only practice when they meet the conditions prescribed in Clause 2, Article 61 of the Law on Real Estate Business 2023 (have a valid real estate brokerage practice certificate and must practice in a real estate trading floor service business enterprise or a real estate brokerage service business enterprise).

The Department of Construction will coordinate with the Department of Science and Technology, the People's Committees at the commune level and relevant agencies to strictly handle individuals who violate the regulations by using real estate brokerage practice certificates and posting information on the websites of the Provincial People's Committees and the Department of Construction. It is recommended that individuals who are qualified to practice real estate brokerage when applying information technology and social networks in real estate business and practicing real estate brokerage clearly state the certificate number (on the cyberspace environment: Zalo, Facebook...) as prescribed in Article 4 of Circular No. 04 dated July 31, 2024 of the Ministry of Construction on training in real estate brokerage practice knowledge.
