Check and handle violations of advertising Nutri Brain IQ milk and Hikid milk

On April 16, the Food Safety Department ( Ministry of Health ) informed that it had issued a document requesting to inspect and handle violations in advertising the Nutri Brain IQ food supplement product.

Specifically, the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) newspaper reported that the advertisement for the Nutri Brain IQ food supplement product showed signs of exaggerating its effects, "making it a miracle drug to cure autism" - violating regulations on food advertising.

On April 15, the Food Safety Department sent an official dispatch to the Hanoi Food Safety and Hygiene Department regarding inspection and handling of violations in advertising activities of the Nutri Brain IQ food supplement.

The Food Safety Department requests the Hanoi Food Safety and Hygiene Sub-Department to conduct inspections and strictly handle organizations and individuals producing, trading, and advertising products in violation (if any) and report the results to the Department.

In addition, the Food Safety Department also issued a document requesting an inspection of Hikid milk products for violating regulations on food advertising.

Accordingly, the Food Safety Department received feedback from the press about the Hikid milk product being advertised in a clip, comparing "100g of Hikid equals 20 liters of fresh milk".

The Food Safety Department requested the Hanoi Food Safety and Hygiene Department to inspect and handle organizations and individuals who advertise products in violation of the regulations mentioned in the article.

Previously, the Ministry of Public Security dismantled a large-scale fake milk powder production line specializing in producing milk for pregnant women and young children with 573 fake products./.
