This festival was a success in many aspects, including the quantity and quality of entries, the display of modern and professional journalistic skills, and the scale and organizational capacity. In particular, the festival left many positive emotions and impressions on broadcasters nationwide due to the meticulous and responsible preparation and the friendliness and hospitality of the people of Thanh Hoa province.

On the evening of July 13th, the closing ceremony of the 16th National Radio Festival - 2024 took place at the Lam Son Theater ( Thanh Hoa City).

Attending the closing ceremony were Comrade Do Tien Sy, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Director General of the Voice of Vietnam Radio, Head of the Steering Committee of the 16th National Radio Festival, along with other members of the Board of Directors of the Voice of Vietnam Radio.
Representing Thanh Hoa province were: Mr. Do Trong Hung, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Do Minh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department and Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Mai Xuan Liem, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Dau Thanh Tung, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for the 16th National Radio Festival; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of provincial departments, agencies, and organizations; and leaders of districts, towns, and cities in the province.
Also attending were leaders from provinces and cities nationwide; international guests; sponsors; and especially nearly 1,000 journalists from radio and television stations, media centers across the country, and units affiliated with the Voice of Vietnam.

Held every two years, the National Radio Festival has gone through 15 seasons, each with its own unique characteristics.
According to the Organizing Committee, the 16th National Radio Festival was an impressive and heartwarming event held in the beautiful and hospitable land of Thanh Hoa province. This festival was successful in many aspects, including the quantity and quality of entries, the modern and professional journalistic skills, and the scale and organizational capacity. In particular, the festival left many positive emotions and impressions on radio professionals nationwide due to the meticulous and responsible preparation and the friendliness and hospitality of the people of Thanh Hoa.
The number of participating units and the number of entries increased significantly. The quality of the entries was consistent. The entries that made it to the final round were truly impressive, demonstrating the attention, meticulous investment, and professionalism of radio and television stations, media centers nationwide, and units under the Voice of Vietnam.
True to the theme "Vietnamese Broadcasting - Diversity in Digital Transformation," the entries clearly demonstrate explorations, discoveries, and many new approaches in line with modern broadcasting trends, showcasing creativity, high professionalism, and creating positive social effects to make broadcasting increasingly more closely integrated and accessible in social life.

Representatives from the Voice of Vietnam and Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Mai Xuan Liem presented the Golden Voice Award; the Outstanding Presenter Award; the Program Production Technical Award; the Digital Platform Application Award; and the Podcast Award to collectives and individuals.

Representatives from the Voice of Vietnam Radio and the Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, Dau Thanh Tung, presented the silver awards in the categories of live radio programs, documentaries, and thematic radio programs.

Comrades Do Minh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Tran Minh Hung, Deputy General Director of the Voice of Vietnam Radio, presented the silver awards in the categories of interviews, ethnic language radio programs, and radio stories.
After five days of diligent, serious, and responsible work, the Final Judging Panel selected and awarded 28 gold prizes, 58 silver prizes, 71 bronze prizes, 63 consolation prizes, and other prestigious awards such as: the Golden Voice Award; the Outstanding Presenter Award; the Program Production Technique Award; the Digital Platform Application Award; and the Podcast Award.
At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded gold, silver, bronze, and other prestigious prizes to individual authors and groups of authors.

The 17th National Radio Festival will be held in 2026 in Quang Ninh province.
