Ninh Binh is the first and only province to possess the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, a World Heritage Site encompassing both cultural and natural elements. This heritage site is not only a treasure bestowed by nature, preserved and passed down through generations of Ninh Binh people, but also a place where historical and cultural values ​​and fine traditions of the nation converge and are crystallized.

At the press conference, Mr. Tran Song Tung, Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee, stated that after 10 years since the site was recognized for its outstanding global values ​​and other values, the tourist areas and attractions within the Heritage site have played a pivotal role in promoting tourism development throughout Ninh Binh province, making a significant contribution to the shift in economic structure from agriculture to services, towards green growth. The Heritage site truly belongs to the community, is protected and passed down by the community.
