

Joining the journey were comrades: Le Quoc Phong, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Pham Chanh Truc, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, former Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union Traditional Club; Nguyen Van Tho, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council; and more than 150 union members and youth.

The delegation came to offer flowers and incense at Bung Lung Base Area, Dinh Mountain. In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation observed a minute of silence to commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation; at the same time, vowed to constantly strive, study, train and work to build the country to be increasingly rich, democratic, fair and civilized.

Here, the delegation watched the documentary “Thi Vai – Nui Dinh”. In the heroic flow of revolutionary struggle history, the youth - students - pupils of Saigon - Gia Dinh area have affirmed their pioneering, brave and enthusiastic role. Political classes were held secretly in the mountains and forests, the bases that nurtured will and belief have become the cradles for training many generations of resilient youth, contributing to creating resounding achievements.

In order to preserve that historical value and bring the heroic stories of the youth of the past closer to today's generation, the organizing committee introduced the Project to restore the Base Area and the Political Classroom of the Youth - Student - Student Committee of Saigon - Gia Dinh Area. This is a project with profound educational significance, a bridge connecting the past and present, and at the same time a red address for the young generation to continue studying, practicing and nurturing ideals.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee called on union members and youth to participate in donating to support people in the Central provinces affected by floods.
