Participating in the journey were comrades: Le Quoc Phong, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Pham Chanh Truc, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, former Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union's Traditional Club; Nguyen Van Tho, Member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council; along with more than 150 youth union members and young people.

The delegation laid wreaths and offered incense at the Bung Lung and Nui Dinh base areas. In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation observed a moment of silence to commemorate the immense contributions of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation; at the same time, they pledged to continuously strive, study, train, and work to build a stronger, more prosperous, democratic, just, and civilized country.

Here, the delegation watched the documentary film "Thi Vai - Nui Dinh". In the heroic flow of revolutionary history, the youth, students, and young people of the Saigon-Gia Dinh region affirmed their pioneering, courageous, and enthusiastic role. Secret political classes held in the mountains and forests, and bases that nurtured willpower and faith, became the cradle for training countless generations of resilient youth, contributing to resounding victories.

In order to preserve these historical values and bring the heroic stories of the youth of the past closer to today's generation, the organizing committee has introduced the Project to Reconstruct the Base Area and Political Training Class of the Youth, Student, and University Cadre Committee of the Saigon - Gia Dinh Area. This project has profound educational significance, serving as a bridge between the past and the present, and as a historical site for the younger generation to continue learning, training, and nurturing their ideals.
On this occasion, the organizing committee launched a campaign for union members and young people to participate in donating to support people in the central provinces affected by floods and heavy rains.
