Kylian Mbappe is reportedly torn between renewing his contract with PSG and agreeing to a move to Real Madrid, amid an ultimatum – the deadline being January 15th.

Real Madrid could talk to Kylian Mbappe in a few days when the winter transfer window opens (January 2024), at which point the PSG striker will be free to negotiate contracts with other teams.
According to Diario AS , although President Florentino Perez is a big fan of Mbappe, Real Madrid's stance is clear: they are giving the striker two weeks to decide (until January 15, 2024) either to agree to move to Bernabeu or they will permanently end their interest in him.
According to French journalist Frederic Hermel, citing the aforementioned source, Mbappe isn't really keen on joining Real Madrid, otherwise he wouldn't be hesitating like this.
"Mbappe doesn't know whether to renew his contract with the Qatari-run club (PSG) or call President Florentino Perez to let him know that he wants to wear the Real Madrid shirt."
Skepticism is a good thing in life, but like everything good, if you overuse it, it becomes harmful.
And Mbappe's skepticism suggests that, deep down, he wasn't that keen on signing with Real Madrid.
Otherwise, Mbappe wouldn't have done what he did on so many occasions. He also wouldn't have had to consider continuing his adventure in Paris. Mbappe wouldn't have been driven by nonsense like becoming the all-time leading scorer in Ligue 1.
The comfort at PSG seems to please Mbappe more than the risks for the Spaniard. We should respect his decision, but if skepticism persists, it starts to become a sign of disrespect."
Mbappe's future is reportedly dependent on PSG's Champions League campaign, and he will only make a decision once the team finishes the tournament. It will certainly be the subject of much more discussion if fate brings PSG face-to-face with Real Madrid in the round of 16, with the draw taking place at 6 PM on December 18th.
