Lam Dong: Two brothers died in a reservoir

At around 3:40 p.m. on July 12, people discovered two brothers dead in a reservoir at Dinh Plei hamlet, Truong Xuan commune (Lam Dong).

The victims were Dang Y. K (14 years old) and Dang Y. H (6 years old), residing in N'jang Bo hamlet, Truong Xuan commune.

According to initial information, at noon of the same day, the two children rode bicycles to go fishing at Dak Rung 1 reservoir, Dinh Plei hamlet.

However, when reaching the curve, due to not being able to control the speed, both brothers fell into the lake and drowned.

In the afternoon of the same day, people passing by discovered the bodies of the two victims and informed their families and local authorities.

The leader of the People's Committee of Truong Xuan commune said that the family of the two brothers K. and H. are poor households. Both victims suffered from thalassemia.

Immediately after the incident, local authorities visited, encouraged and partially supported the funeral expenses for both victims.
