According to the decision, the plan to place GPMB stakes and road boundary markers is implemented according to the project route approved in Decision No. 669/QD-UBND dated March 31, 2025 of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee.
The scope of GPMB stake placement is determined horizontally and vertically, in compliance with standards according to road level, bridge type and actual terrain. Particularly in urban areas, stakes are arranged to suit complex traffic situations and take into account factors of adjacent construction works.

Specifically, the distance between GPMB stakes along the highway route is 3m from the outer edge of the roadbed, and 1m for the service road. The distance between stakes along the entire route ranges from 30m to 200m, depending on the urban or rural area.
The Lam Dong Province decision also clearly stipulates the scope of road boundary markers (MLG) for both roads and bridges, with appropriate distances for each residential area, rice fields or mountainous areas. The markers are manufactured according to technical specifications, ensuring clear identification and durability during construction.
Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to be responsible for appraising and approving the entire dossier; the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board and related units to organize the implementation in accordance with legal procedures; at the same time, direct localities to coordinate in the work of setting up landmarks, creating conditions for site clearance work, and promptly handing over the site to investors for project construction.

Previously, on May 9, the Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee signed Decision No. 967/QD-UBND approving the bidding documents for the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Project (Phase 1). The bidding documents include 3 parts: investor selection procedures; project implementation requirements and contracts with related forms.
Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee assigns the Provincial Transport Project Management Board to perform the functions and tasks of the bidding party; organize the selection of investors in compliance with the provisions of law on bidding and other relevant regulations to ensure competition, fairness, transparency and efficiency, and select investors with sufficient legal status, capacity and experience to meet the requirements of the bidding documents to implement the project.
In phase 1, this project has a scale of 4 lanes, a roadbed width of 17m and a maximum operating speed of 80km/h. At the same time, about 4-5 km of emergency parking space will be arranged in the same direction of traffic with the width of the emergency lane ensuring the width of the roadbed according to the completed phase. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2027.
