Laotian international students have access to good books
Having studied Vietnamese in Da Nang for 5 months, Lasaphon Lounny (a Laotian student) and his friends were excited to participate in the book exhibition booths. Lounny shared: "This is the first time I have participated in the Book Festival. I am very impressed with the books and the way Vietnamese students introduce and share good books. When my Vietnamese is better, I will look for good books to read to both improve my level and gain new knowledge."
The Student Union of the University of Education launched the club "Books and Youth of UED"
On this occasion, the Student Association of the University of Education launched the club "Books and UED Youth" with the desire to promote access to books as well as practice reading habits for students through activities: exchanging and sharing about reading culture by week, by monthly theme; organizing book introduction contests; volunteer activities for the community; organizing book discussion sessions, connecting with libraries and publishers; creating reading group meetings, discussion sessions or organizing reading culture events are also conditions to help students meet, exchange ideas and create many community relationships...
In addition, the Club will also implement the "Zero-cost Curriculum" project with the aim of supporting students to access authentic and reliable sources of documents/curricula.
