On July 26, 2025, in the face of complicated developments and severe consequences caused by the impact of storm No. 3 in the western region of Nghe An, widespread flooding occurred, the Nghe An Department of Health and the Provincial Center for Disease Control organized 3 emergency working groups to the affected localities.

The working group of Nghe An Department of Health led by Dr. Nguyen Van Thuong - Deputy Director of the Department of Health surveyed, inspected the damage and supported the Medical Center to overcome the difficulties that the units are facing. At the same time, there were instructions and guidance on how to overcome the storm and flood to quickly restore activities to ensure medical examination and treatment.

Delegations from the Provincial Center for Disease Control have come to the places to distribute Aquatabs water purification tablets and water bags to the Medical Centers (Ky Son Medical Center, Tuong Duong Medical Center, Con Cuong Medical Center, Anh Son Medical Center, Quy Chau Medical Center, Que Phong Medical Center) so that the Centers can promptly support people in affected areas and instruct people on how to use them properly, to ensure clean water, environmental sanitation and disease prevention after the storm.
