In his commemorative speech, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh affirmed that the liberation of Khanh Hoa province is a shining milestone, adding another glorious chapter to the heroic 21-year long resistance war against the US, a war full of sacrifices and hardships but also immense glory, further enriching the golden history of the Party Committee and people of Khanh Hoa province.
The glorious and heroic achievements of the army and people of Khanh Hoa province blended together to create a combined strength, joining the army and people of the whole country to achieve the historic Great Victory of Spring 1975, liberating the South, unifying the Fatherland, and opening a new era for the nation - an era of independence, unity, and together building a socialist Vietnam that is "prosperous, strong, democratic, just, and civilized," fulfilling the sacred aspirations of the entire nation and beloved President Ho Chi Minh.
This is a victory of the spirit of unity, patriotism, revolutionary heroism, unwavering loyalty, steadfast devotion to the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, courageous and tenacious fighting, enduring and overcoming countless hardships, sacrifices, and selflessness of the army and people of Khanh Hoa for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and their homeland.

For 50 years since liberation, the Party Committee, government, and people of Khanh Hoa have always upheld the heroic tradition of unity, dynamism, and creativity, demonstrating the resilience and spirit of the land and people of Khanh Hoa, diligently building and developing the province, gradually bringing Khanh Hoa to a new level of development with many important achievements over the past half-century, especially the achievements of Khanh Hoa province after 40 years alongside the national renovation process.
Speaking at the commemoration ceremony, Central Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc acknowledged and praised Khanh Hoa province for its transformation after 50 years of liberation, demonstrating new vitality, momentum, and strong development, achieving significant accomplishments. The province's appearance has changed rapidly, and the lives of its people have continuously improved. Khanh Hoa is a province with a high economic growth rate in the South Central region and the whole country, achieving double-digit economic growth for three consecutive years. In 2024, it comprehensively completed all 22 socio-economic, national defense, and security targets, ranking among the top 10 provinces with the highest economic growth nationwide. Khanh Hoa province has not only achieved budget self-sufficiency but also contributes to the central government budget, and the material and spiritual lives of its people have been enhanced.

The year 2025 holds special significance, as it is a year of accelerated progress towards achieving the highest possible goals of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party, and a year for holding Party congresses at all levels, leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party. With this significance in mind, the Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee requested that Khanh Hoa province focus on thorough preparation and successful organization of Party congresses at all levels, including the 19th Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, ensuring it truly becomes a broad and profound political activity within the political system and among the people of the province. This will promote new driving forces to achieve double-digit economic growth in 2025 and in the new development phase, comprehensively fulfilling the targets and tasks of the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, creating a solid foundation for entering a new development phase.
Along with that, it is necessary to continue focusing on streamlining the organizational structure, building the Party, the political system, and the cadre of officials to be "lean, efficient, effective, and effective," successfully implementing the policy of reorganizing administrative units at all levels and building a two-tiered model of local government organization with high determination and decisive action, ensuring national defense and security, and social order and safety. Strengthening unity and cohesion within the Party, the consensus of the people, and effectively carrying out political tasks in the new period.
