However, Van Nistelrooy will remain in the hot seat until the end of the season. More than two months after being relegated and with only 7 weeks to go until the 2025/26 Championship season begins, Leicester have yet to make an official announcement about the coaching situation, leaving fans disappointed.

However, British media confirmed that Leicester have decided to sack Van Nistelrooy. They will wait until after June 30 to avoid having two coach dismissals and contract compensation in the same financial year.

In addition, the "Foxes" announced the departure of 11 players, including key names such as Jamie Vardy, Danny Ward and Daniel Iversen.
