According to Vietnam Social Security, the payment of pensions and social insurance benefits for July 2026 will be carried out according to a unified schedule and through individual bank accounts or received directly at payment points to ensure the rights of beneficiaries.

Specifically, the Social Insurance agencies in 21 provinces and cities will make payments via personal accounts on the first working day of the month. These provinces and cities include: Son La, Dien Bien, Lang Son, Nghe An, Quang Ninh, Cao Bang, Bac Ninh , Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Thua Thien Hue, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Vinh Long, Ca Mau, and Kien Giang.
Meanwhile, the Social Insurance branches in 13 provinces and cities, including Hanoi , Lai Chau, Thanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Hai Phong, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Lao Cai, Quang Ngai, Da Nang, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, and Dong Thap, will make payments on the second working day of the month.
For example, in Hanoi, the payment schedule for pensions and social insurance benefits is expected to start from July 1st; in Ho Chi Minh City, the payment schedule for pensions and social insurance benefits is expected to start from July 2nd.
Other provinces and cities are similar; people will receive their pensions and social insurance benefits according to the payment schedule.
With cash payments made at designated locations, disbursements will take place from July 2nd to 10th, for a minimum of 6 hours each day. Disbursement points will only close early once payments have been completed for all eligible recipients on the list.
From July 11th to July 25th, pensions and social insurance benefits will continue to be paid at the transaction points of the payment service organizations.
The Vietnam Social Security (BHXH Vietnam) notes that if the payment date falls on a weekend or public holiday, it will be postponed to the next working day.



Notably, in the July 2026 payment period, approximately 3.5 million people receiving pensions, social insurance benefits, and monthly allowances nationwide will receive an 8% increase according to Government Decree 162/2026/ND-CP.
According to the Vietnam Social Security, there are currently about 3.5 million people nationwide receiving monthly pensions. Of these, over 11,500 receive 20 million VND or more per month; nearly 418,500 receive between 10 and under 20 million VND; over 1 million receive between 6 and under 10 million VND; and approximately 1.35 million receive between 3 and under 6 million VND per month.
