After the completion of the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2026-2027 school year, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training will organize the grading process from June 3rd to June 9th.
According to the plan, during this period, the Department will carry out the grading process, summarize the grading results, and compare the results. After completing these steps, the Department of Education and Training will announce the exam scores, the cut-off scores for admission to public high schools, and the supplementary enrollment plan (if any).
The exam results will be announced after June 9th.
This year's entrance exam for 10th grade in public schools in Ho Chi Minh City took place over two days, June 1st and 2nd, with more than 151,000 candidates participating. This is the largest-scale exam ever held after the expansion of the administrative boundaries.

After the exam results are announced, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training will announce the cutoff scores for admission to specialized and integrated 10th-grade classes.
Students admitted to specialized or integrated 10th-grade classes must confirm their enrollment online through the system and submit their enrollment documents at the admitted school within the specified timeframe.
After the enrollment period ends, candidates who were not admitted to specialized or integrated 10th-grade classes, or who were admitted but did not confirm their enrollment on time, will be considered for admission to their three registered regular 10th-grade classes.
Next, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training will conduct the selection process and announce the cut-off scores for regular 10th grade classes. According to regulations, students who are accepted into a particular school must attend that school; each student can only be accepted into one school.
In the event that there are still vacancies after the enrollment process is completed, the Department of Education and Training will announce a supplementary enrollment plan. The supplementary enrollment process only applies to students who participated in the public high school entrance exam but were not admitted to any of their previously registered choices.
According to regulations, the admission score is the sum of the scores from the three exams plus any bonus or incentive points. To be considered for admission, candidates must participate in all required exams and not receive a score of 0 on any exam.
