Summer vacation schedule 2025 for students in 63 provinces and cities

According to the 2024-2025 school year schedule issued by the Ministry of Education and Training , educational institutions must complete their programs and end the school year before May 31.

Depending on the end of the first semester, students in some localities may have summer vacation one week earlier. In Hanoi , the end of the school year is May 30. Meanwhile, in Ho Chi Minh City, the end of the school year is before May 31. An Giang and Ca Mau end the second semester the earliest in the country on May 23.

After the end of the school year, students will begin summer vacation until further notice regarding the return of school for the new school year 2025-2026.
