The festival featured 161 performances from elementary, middle, high school, and continuing education students, representing thousands of music- loving students in the city. Prior to this, school-level, ward/commune-level, high school cluster-level, and vocational education/continuing education block-level competitions were held to select outstanding performances.
According to Pham Quoc Toan, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the High School Student Musical Instrument Talent Festival is a vivid testament to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training's attention and investment in cultural, physical, and artistic education in general, and music in particular, aiming to cultivate the character, soul, talent, and spiritual life of students, and to comprehensively develop students in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development.
The closing ceremony and awards presentation for the 1st Hanoi City High School Student Musical Instrument Talent Festival took place on January 16th.
