Review of How Much Youth costs episode 6
In episode 6 of the film How Much Does Youth Cost, a new character named Quan appears. Although he lives alone, Quan cooks for himself because he is concerned about food hygiene and safety. When his friends call to invite him to hang out and meet girls, Quan refuses, spending his free time doing charity work, bringing Mid-Autumn Festival to disadvantaged children.
Interestingly, Linh also joined this volunteer group. Seeing Linh happy with the children, Quan started to notice her.
As Nhung talked to the children, she remembered her family, where her father was drunk and often beat her mother. During the Mid-Autumn Festival program, a child fell and broke his arm. Nhung quickly gave him first aid and took him to the hospital with Quan.
However, the drunken father of the child entered the hospital room, not only did not thank him but also rushed to beat Quan, blaming him. At this time, Kien was also present and helped Quan take the drunken father out.
After greeting and introducing themselves, Quan and Kien discovered that they were in the same university class. Linh and Kien were childhood friends and from the same hometown. Quan tactfully suggested that Kien take Nhung home while he would return to clean up the Mid-Autumn Festival program.
Kien was not happy when Linh had trouble with her volunteer work. He wanted Linh to inform him every time she participated in volunteer work so that he could go with her. Kien also called his father to remind him to eat properly, worrying that he would skip meals because he was too busy working. Mr. Hieu sold rambutan in the garden, but was forced to sell at a low price by traders and finally had to accept selling at a low price to go to the city to visit his son.
When he went to the city, Mr. Hieu secretly looked at his ex-wife and daughter from afar, just like 20 years ago. His wife, Mrs. Trang, was still happily living with her husband and daughter in their luxurious house. However, Kien appeared and said to his father: "Leave it, Dad!"
In another development, Kieu eagerly prepares for her first day of internship at her father's company. At the company, Mr. Liem, director of Huong Duong Company, is upset because a partner canceled investment in an important project. During the argument, Mr. Liem affirms that the company will develop in a multinational direction, not just a family business.
Just out of the meeting room, Mr. Liem saw Kieu waiting outside. Kieu happily boasted: "Today is my first day of internship at the company, do you think I'm good?". To maintain his reputation with his employees, Mr. Liem tore up the internship paper in front of his daughter and left, leaving Kieu shocked and sobbing.
Kieu then went into the office, apologized to her father and promised to try to prove her ability. However, Mr. Liem was still angry: "No need to promise! You're already embarrassed!".
