The highlight of the event was Lithuanian pink soup, or 'saltibarsciai', made from beetroot and kefir fermented milk. The dish can be served cold with herbs, cucumber, and a boiled egg.

Egle Girdzijauskaite, Head of Communications for the Festival, shared: "Pink soup is a very special traditional dish for the Lithuanian people. That's why we built the festival around this iconic dish, while also promoting it to tourists."

Irina Lisovskiene, a participant in the event, shared that this popular cold soup is perfect for the current hot summer days.
The color pink isn't limited to just food . The festival also features other highlights such as a boat parade and a giant pink waterslide experience.
Rasa Varniene, a festival attendee, said: "So many people and so many activities, everything was covered in pink."
This is the fourth year the festival has been held, and it is estimated to attract around 100,000 attendees, including approximately 20,000 international visitors.
