Chosun (South Korea) believes that the Chinese Football Association will not choose coach Shin Tae Yong. The newspaper wrote: "Chinese fans probably want Philippe Troussier to lead the national team more than coach Shin Tae Yong. They never like a Korean coach to lead the national team.
Coach Troussier was fired from the Vietnam national team after losing three consecutive matches to Indonesia. Although his performance in Vietnam was not good, Coach Troussier achieved impressive results in other countries, especially in Japan in the early 2000s.
