The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Samsung's flagship S-series phone, is expected to launch early next year. To date, quite a bit of information about its design and internal chip has leaked. From the leaked images so far, it can be inferred that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a more squared-off body and flat edges.
Leaked video reveals the design of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
But a recently posted video on Reddit gives us an even more comprehensive look at this highly anticipated phone. A Reddit user shared a leaked video of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, giving us a clear view of the design changes. The Reddit account has since been deleted, possibly because the user wanted to remain anonymous.
The post was shared with a humorous caption stating that the device was "definitely" the Galaxy S24 Ultra, but from the rounded corners and different design, it can be confirmed that this is the Galaxy S25 Ultra, with its rounded corners and flatter edges.
It's still unclear whether this is an early production model or a prototype, but with its flat edges and glossy metal finish, it's clear that the device is gradually following the design language of the iPhone 16 or Google Pixel 9.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to be thinner, aiming to compete with the iPhone 17 Pro models, which are set to launch in September 2025. This time, Samsung will use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite series chip, with performance differences from the A18 Pro likely to be minimal. The smartphone is also expected to have 12GB of RAM for the base variant, while higher-end models may come with even more RAM.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is also rumored to have a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, slightly smaller than the iPhone 16 Pro models. The device will also come with Android 15 out of the box. Samsung is also moving to a titanium finish, quite similar to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro models.
In addition to the video, Android Authority indirectly contacted the uploader and obtained several more photos of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, including the placement of the S Pen and a screenshot of One UI 7 on the same device.
Here are some images of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
The previous video clip didn't show the bottom of the phone. In the image above, we can see the other half: the USB-C port, SIM slot, speaker, and S Pen. The image on the right shows the device plugged in for charging, along with the new One UI 7 notification icon.
Here are some screenshots of One UI 7.
