This is a shining symbol of camaraderie, the courage and responsibility of "Uncle Ho's soldiers," thereby spreading the tradition of "drinking water, remembering the source" of the Party Committee, government, and people of the city named after President Ho.

On the same day, a groundbreaking ceremony for the memorial monument commemorating the soldiers and heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the Tet Offensive of 1968 was held at the Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs' Cemetery. The ceremony was organized by Military Region 7 in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Command.
