According to the plan, on May 29th, 30th, and 31st, Luu Kiem ward will organize health check-ups for the elderly in the Kenh Giang, Dong Son, and Luu Kiem areas.

The People's Committee of Luu Kiem ward organized medical check-ups for the elderly in the Lien Khe area.

From May 27th to 31st, 2026, the People's Committee of Luu Kiem Ward will organize a free health check-up program for the elderly in the area at the following health stations: Luu Kiem, Kenh Giang, Lien Khe, and Dong Son. According to the plan, the locality aims to provide health check-ups for 1,552 elderly people throughout the ward.

The program is implemented to fulfill Resolution No. 49/2025/NQ-HĐND dated December 10, 2025, of the City People's Council on strengthening support policies to improve the quality of population work in the period 2026-2030. Particular emphasis is placed on providing humane and practical healthcare for the elderly.

Elderly people receive health check-ups and guidance on healthcare.

On May 27th and 28th, the local authorities organized health checkups for over 330 elderly people in the Lien Khe and Kenh Giang areas. At the checkup points, medical staff from the Thuy Nguyen Health Center, in coordination with staff from the Luu Kiem Health Station, provided free clinical examinations, electrocardiograms, abdominal ultrasounds, and blood sugar tests for the residents.

All health check-up results are digitized by the ward's health station, creating electronic health records to monitor and support preventive treatment for the elderly over the long term.

In addition to health check-ups and examinations, doctors and medical staff also provide direct advice on nutrition, guidance on home health care, helping the elderly raise awareness of preventing common diseases and maintain a healthy and scientific lifestyle.

According to the plan, on May 29th, 30th, and 31st, the local authorities will continue to organize health check-ups for the elderly in the Kenh Giang, Dong Son, and Luu Kiem areas.
