Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Tran Duc Chung - Chairman of Lung Cu Commune People's Committee - said that all means of transport transporting passengers to Lung Cu flagpole will be temporarily suspended from November 21 to December 2. This is also the time of the 11th Buckwheat Flower Festival.
The vehicle-free section is about 600-700m long, from the starting point of the road to the flagpole. During this time, visitors can walk or use the electric car or motorbike taxi of Lung Cu commune.
According to Mr. Chung, the suspension of passenger vehicles to Lung Cu flagpole is to ensure space for cultural and artistic experiences and folk games during the Buckwheat Flower Festival.
Second, during peak season, the number of motorbikes and cars increases, easily leading to traffic jams and potential traffic safety risks.
