We always forget to send loving messages to our loved ones before being sweet to strangers.

Opening the music video for "Touch Closer, Love Deeper," released on the evening of May 12th, Truc Nhan stirred viewers' hearts with the open-ended question, "We're family, but are we truly close?". Following this, the singer appeared in a bustling film set with colorful scenes. The hitmaker of "Have You Opened Your Eyes Yet?" transformed into a handsome photographer with a calm demeanor.

Compared to his previous music videos, Truc Nhan presents a completely new image this time with "three no's": no rebellion, no eccentricity, and no chasing trends. The male singer chooses to explore a story about family love from an everyday, simple perspective.

The story follows a photographer tasked with taking commemorative photos for families. Despite his best efforts to support the subjects and meticulously plan every detail, Truc Nhan is still not satisfied with the resulting photos. Ultimately, the singer is forced to stop the shoot and spend time thinking about the reason and how to resolve the issue.

Truc Nhan's songs always contain messages that make listeners think deeply.

Truc Nhan seemed to realize that fathers and children rarely interact or show affection in real life. Therefore, when in front of the camera, they appear awkward and shy. This disrupts the workflow and makes the photos look forced and unnatural. From this, he suddenly came up with the idea of using jewelry to help the characters act more naturally. When the children directly put bracelets, watches, etc., on their parents, unintentional "touches" appear between the fathers and children. "It's surprising," familiar and heartwarming feelings of family affection suddenly seep in and rush back through these "simple, gentle touches."

The emotional intensity of the music video gradually increases as it captures scenes of the boys and girls choking back tears and gazing blankly at their father's calloused hands, their mother's hunched shoulders, wrinkled face, and graying hair.

Sometimes, people are so preoccupied with making a living that they don't realize how limited the time they have for their loved ones is. The marks of time are etched on the faces of their parents. Every simple handshake and hug has become precious to these fathers and mothers. It's their unspoken longing to be close to and love their children as they cared for them when they were young. However, these simple things have become luxuries in a life full of worries and anxieties.

Truc Nhan with "Touching Closer, Loving More"

Although not as lively or emotionally charged as "That's Unexpected," "Have You Opened Your Eyes Yet?", or "If You Don't Keep What You Have, Don't Look For It When You Lose It," Truc Nhan's music in the MV "Touch Closer, Love More" remains consistent and always prompts listeners to reflect.

The song has a pop-musical feel, with a bright, emotional melody, but also subtly and interestingly conveys a message about family bonds. It's a reminder to young people who are so preoccupied with life that they forget to connect with their families: Get a little closer, and we will "touch" each other.

With a simple, sincere, and empathetic approach, the singer achieved his goal of "touching the hearts of listeners as much as possible."
