Locals and tourists will have the opportunity to experience the beauty of the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival at Thung Nham Eco -tourism Area, Ninh Binh.

On this occasion, Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area in Nam Hoa Lu ward will open its doors to the public from 5 PM on October 4th, allowing locals and tourists to experience the traditional and modern Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere and participate in a special art program within the framework of the Thung Nham Moon Festival with the theme "Returning to Childhood, Sending All My Love".

In addition, visitors can check in with the giant, vibrant carp lanterns and the mystical jade rabbit; visit the exhibition of Mid-Autumn Festival paintings from the past and present, learn about the Mid-Autumn Festival through different periods, and see the exhibition of paper-cutting and cellophane paper paintings; participate in colorful handicraft workshops such as making mooncakes, painting papier-mâché masks, sculpting clay figurines, or making their own star lanterns; enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival feast, carry star lanterns in processions, and savor traditional folk dishes...

Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen Thuong, from the Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area Management Board, said that preparations for the program are basically complete and room occupancy has reached 100%. In particular, to make the Mid-Autumn Festival not only a celebration for children, but also an opportunity to connect hearts, making every visit to Thung Nham meaningful, complete, and humane, tourists and locals will join hands to raise funds for underprivileged children.

The paper-cut paintings, created by the children themselves, will be auctioned off. All proceeds will be used for scholarships, gifts, and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival activities, delivered directly to local children.

These days, Tam Chuc National Tourist Area, Tam Chuc ward, is actively preparing many meaningful programs and activities for the "Tam Chuc Magical Light Festival 2025" - the province's biggest Mid-Autumn Festival event, which will take place from October 3-6.

Highlights include a parade of giant lantern models; a charity night called "Moon for Children" for children from all 129 communes and wards of the province; the donation of nearly 1,000 gifts to disadvantaged children, along with thousands of gifts for participating children; the cultural space "New Ninh Binh Reunion Night"; a night of wishing and lighting up millions of hopes by Luc Nhac Lake; a colorful Mid-Autumn Festival space with many special programs, art performances and stalls displaying typical products of the province; activities such as setting up tents, preparing feasts, and folk games evoking childhood memories... all to bring people and tourists a meaningful festival, rich in tradition but also full of new experiences.

Preparations for the "Tam Chuc Magical Light Festival" are being actively carried out by the tourist area.

According to Mr. Mai Quoc Dat, Deputy Executive Director of Tam Chuc Tourist Area, the "Tam Chuc Magical Light Festival 2025" is not only an opportunity to spread national cultural values, but also a chance to promote the brand, connect the community, share love, and is expected to become a unique cultural and tourism highlight of the province.

With its large scale and projected attraction of tens of thousands of locals and tourists, the resort has developed plans and proactively implemented measures to ensure safe visitor reception, such as: inspecting and reviewing the quality of technical facilities and services; organizing the inspection and installation of directional signs, traffic management, and ensuring fire safety; and having medical and rescue teams on duty 24/7 at key locations…

Many meaningful and humanitarian activities in Ninh Binh province will bring complete joy to the children.

In order to create a beneficial playground for children and make it an attractive destination for tourists, many tourist areas and localities in the province are actively preparing to organize meaningful activities and distribute gifts to children during the Mid-Autumn Festival to bring complete joy to children, especially those in difficult circumstances; at the same time, this is also a journey to take tourists back to their childhood, rediscover simple joys, share love, and explore unique destinations and experience distinctive cultural features.

According to Mr. Bui Van Manh, Director of the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism, to ensure safe and thoughtful reception for tourists, the department is coordinating with local authorities, relevant units, and tourist areas, attractions, and service businesses to upgrade facilities, strengthen the workforce of guides and support staff; and strictly implement regulations on security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention and control, food safety, and environmental hygiene.

In addition, focus on raising public awareness to promote civilized tourism practices, absolutely preventing any instances of harassment or price gouging of tourists visiting Ninh Binh, and building an image of a safe, civilized, friendly, and attractive destination.

With thorough preparation, a sense of responsibility, and many meaningful activities, Ninh Binh's tourism industry hopes that this will be an opportunity to bring many attractive experiences of Vietnamese cultural traditions to a large number of people, domestic and international tourists.
