According to the British media, among the seven players whose futures at Old Trafford are secured this summer, Rashford's name is not included. Instead, the list includes Andre Onana, Diogo Dalot, Lisandro Martinez, Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, Amad Diallo, and Rasmus Hojlund.

Some believe Rashford needs to leave Man United to revive his career at both club and international level. However, the striker has no plans for a new future. Instead, Rashford is determined to fight for his place. He scored 30 goals in the 2022-2023 season, Erik ten Hag's first campaign in charge. And Rashford was further motivated after the Dutch manager's future at Old Trafford was secured.

Ten Hag's future was once in doubt after Manchester United finished only 8th in the Premier League last season. Even after beating Manchester City and winning the FA Cup, the Red Devils' management were still quietly contacting other candidates. But ultimately, for various reasons, Manchester United decided to continue trusting the 54-year-old manager.

Rashford's current contract with Man United runs until the summer of 2028, giving him time to turn things around. The club are keen to keep the striker, although they will consider selling him at a suitable price.

Ten Hag made no secret of his thoughts on Rashford's exclusion from the England squad for EURO 2024. In an interview with NOS television, he mentioned Rashford's form and that of Jack Grealish, who also lacked Southgate's trust.

"Grealish and Rashford have both been out of form this season. And when they're out of form, no coach will call them up to the national team. England have a fantastic squad. They have the best midfield of all the countries participating in the EURO. In attack, they have Harry Kane in the center along with two wingers of incredible quality," said Ten Hag.

After being dropped from the squad by Southgate, Rashford announced a break from social media and responded to fan criticism. "It's time for me to step away from social media for a few weeks. I plan to rest and recharge mentally after a difficult season for both myself and the team."
