While Manchester United will not stand in the way of Marcus Rashford's departure, the player himself has no plans to leave Old Trafford. The 26-year-old striker has endured a difficult season, scoring just eight goals in 43 appearances. This has led to Rashford being left out of England's Euro 2024 squad, with manager Gareth Southgate prioritizing players in better form.

According to British media, among the 7 players whose future at Old Trafford is guaranteed this summer, Rashford's name is not included. Instead, the list includes Andre Onana, Diogo Dalot, Lisandro Martinez, Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, Amad Diallo and Rasmus Hojlund.

Some have suggested that Rashford needs to leave Man United to revive his career at club and international level. However, the striker has no plans for a new future. Instead, Rashford is determined to fight for his place. He scored 30 goals in the 2022-23 season, Erik ten Hag's first campaign in charge. And Rashford is motivated by the Dutchman's future at Old Trafford being assured.

Ten Hag's future was in doubt after Man United finished 8th in the Premier League last season. After being left out by Southgate, Rashford announced a break from social media and responded to criticism from fans. "It's time for me to take a break from social media for a few weeks. I intend to rest and recharge after a difficult season for both myself and the team.
